The Headline Clock was created to provide accurate time, but also timely news, stocks, and weather on a regular basis on an omnipresent device that may be in and around your house or office. It is made of metal, wood, and is a true network appliance (a smart device with hi-tech electronics and audio and display technology, including an embedded web server). It is commercial quality. The news is essentially in the background, non-invasive but omnipresent, for your eye to catch when something important may have just occurred in the world. The alert sounds and indicators are subtle enough to be non-intrusive, but distinct enough to catch your attention. Even though it is a network appliance, there is no monthly or other usage fees or intrusive agreements. You are in control.
Think of it as a news clock, a headline clock, a stock clock, a weather clock, all in one.

- Atomic time: Never needs setting, settable chimes (Westminster and other), volume, and schedule.
- AutoBrightness, AutoVolume: Brightness and volume can automatically adjust down as the ambient light darkens.
- News: Display scrolling news feeds every 2 minutes. You can even can create a news feed around your specific topics of interest!
- Weather: Display local weather every 2 minutes, current conditions and forecast
- Stocks: Display your desired stocks every couple of minutes, red is down, green is up, blinking means big change.
- Status: Indicator LEDs notify timeliness and importance of news, as well as status of network connection
- Configurable: Via an embedded web server, configure type of news, schedule, weather, colors, chimes, text color, font, speed, updates, alerts, etc.
- Easy install: No power cord, just network cable back to network switch or PoE injector (provided)
